The second volume in the acclaimed archive series, this double CD set runs for 150 minutes and features rare period sound recordings from the First World War. The recordings are chiefly British, and include patriotic songs, marches, ballads, and descriptive and comic sketches. Recording dates are as given below. All selections have been sympathetically digitally remastered using CEDAR, and the booklet features detailed historical and recording notes by James Hayward.
